2018- A Bordeaux-style blend, is created by firm Stellenbosch favourite, Spier. It delights with its ruby-edged, dark red colour. The nose reveals its aromas in layers: fruity black cherries and blackcurrants, as well as marzipan. Expect a balanced, opulent palate that is brimming with berry flavours and oaky spice notes of cloves and cinnamon. The wine concludes with dashes of cedar oak and elegant tannins. Beef casserole, lamb with mint, or slow-cooked oxtail make the perfect accompaniments to this charming Bordeaux blend. 47% Cabernet Sauvignon / 31% Merlot / 10% Cabernet Franc 9% Petit Verdot / 3% Malbec.
